Accommodations

Irish Goodbye's V-berth has been modified by previous owner to a twin berth to accommodate a disabled user.  It has been estimated at $400-500 to retrofit the berth back to a queen berth.

A unique feature of this Mainship 40 is the tremendous amount of space found throughout the main salon.  Mainship achieved this by eliminating the side decks and creating a full-beam cabin.  The beam is 14 feet and you feel like you are on a much larger vessel. The open floor plan of this main salon can easily be reconfigured to your needs.

Currently, the galley is located along the port side and features a separate refrigerator and freezer, stove with oven, a microwave and ample counter space.

The starboard side of the main salon has a day head aft.  Moving forward is a large custom cabinet with 4 large drawers and a pull-out bunk below with a Sleep Number mattress. Two comfortable reclining lounge chairs face the flat screen TV on the port side.

The lower helm has ample room for all the electronics and has an excellent 360 degree view around the boat. Two doors on either side of the helm offer easy access to the fore deck and to the access ladders to the bridge.

The aft deck has a ladder leading to the upper deck as well as a door in the transom for easy access to the swim platform. A large sliding glass door opens into the main salon.

The owner’s stateroom is forward and features a twin mattress,  generous storage and an ensuite head with a separate stall shower.

Irish Goodbye's V-berth has been modified by previous owner to a twin berth to accommodate a disabled user.  It has been estimated at $400-500 to retrofit the berth back to a queen berth.

The upper deck is enormous and an ideal area to entertain. The helm, has two captain’s chairs, is well laid out and offers great visibility all around.  There is guest seating on a bench just forward of the helm and another one behind it.
